Species

Amikoj aren't a uniform species, Scientists and Naturalists have divided Amikoj in 4 species so far. Prof. Maisoneuf createdthe NUA -Numérotation Universelle des Amikoj- (Universal Amikoj Coding). All the subspecies are coded like : AX,

Robe isn't a way of knowing the subspecies, since amikoj, like charmelon, adapt themself to their surroundings.

A0, the first species

A0 Amikoj are extinct, the only proofs we have of their existences are paintings in Limousin. They are the supposed primitives amikoj, close to the one given by the Ancient Astronauts. Their area of living where, as we know today, quite vast from Europe to Asia and Africa.

A1, the most common Amikoj

A1 Amikoj are the archetypal amikoj, they present a round face with two ears, wich shapes can vary. They have been spotted in Western Europe and East Africa.

A2, african amikoj ?

A2 Amikoj were supposed to be endemic to Africa, but the last Limousin Expedition in 2009 showed us we were wrong. A2 Amikoj have apprently the same livnig area as the A1 Amikoj. The differences are the presence of horns on the A2 amiko male and they tend to have sharper ears.

A3, Marie-Antoinette' favorite

A3 Amikoj are a really rare subspeices. Under the reign of Louis XVI, they became very à la mode, resulting in a quasi extinction of wild A3 Amikoj. They were rumored to be extinct since the Frecnh revolution. A3 Amikoj love to stay around the neck of their adoptives.
